When the Wind Hits a Cliff

When the wind hits a cliff,
Though the grass that covers it dance,
The stone stays unchanged
I stand,
Like a stone,

When a storm charges over the ocean,
The waves rise to meet it,
Bravely, it welcomes the rain
I wade,
Like the waves,

When a child is visited by hunger,
And cries out in need,
Seeking comfort from a familiar answer
I call,
Like a child,
For your voice

When the enemy appears,
On the darkening horizon
The hero calmly prepares
I plan,
A hero’s life,
To a glorious end
