I cannot see the constellations
Yet my blindness does not erase
The burning lights above me
Beyond time and infinite space
I do not have the answers
Yet my hope is not replaced
It stays fixed where it is anchored
In the love my heart was raised
I hold none of man’s assurance
Each turn has been disdained
Yet I’ll trust His Word, His Promise
That my steps have been ordained
I lie as if I’m dying
I sleep in my own tears
Yet I’ll wake to blessed mercies
Perfect love casts off my fears
