I Sign My Name

I sign my name on a finished piece
And dedicate my strength no more
I sign my name and then release
On a fresh canvas, I draw once more
The lines and shapes of a new portrait
Though different still more gorgeous
Than that cursed by belief in fate
Replaced by hope that remains glorious
Oh the lightness that comes with the new
After a black tunnel passed through
Until just before I prepare its frame
I take my pen and sign my name

  1. Goodbye David.
    Au Revoir.
    Grateful, always for everything.
And always hopeful in all things.
God bless your heart that journeys with Him..

  2. Fate. Destiny.. Oh, boy!
He is our destiny for He holds our future.
    There lies my hope.
For a while there, I tried to control mine.
Until I was made to realize by grace that we must always completely SURRENDER everything in HIS CONTROL.
Including my wants, desires, hopes and dreams.
So I surrender. I trust His higher ways. He holds my destiny. He is my destiny. I have no regrets. Only thankfulness for every place in every chapter of life’s journey. Everything will work out for good.
He will make things always beautiful in His time.
And He will always suffice. He is enough.
He is love. He is life.

may God grant you all your heart’s desires as you seek Him and find Him and delight in Him in your life’s continuing journey.

    God bless your heart. 🙂
